I am Wayne Smith and I am the Principal and Licensee.  I am a former Police Officer and Detective with over 19 years policing experience and although real estate and policing seem worlds apart, they share many similarities.

During my time in the police force I obtained skills that are highly transferable to the real estate industry.  Skills in negotiation, effective and clear communication, and the ability to interpret and apply legislative process.  However, above all and most importantly, I am an honest agent with strong moral values, now serving as a licensed agent, and the Principle of Smith Real Estate NT.

A lifelong interest in the property market began in 2003 when I bought my first investment property.  I have always had a keen interest in the market and spent a lot of time researching trends and keenly observing changes.  Since then, my passion and skills have grown, leading me to open Smith Real Estate NT.
